Client Dining Room Reveal

I'm back with another client reveal today! You might remember a few weeks ago when I shared my client's kitchen reveal with you! Well today I'm sharing the other side of the room-- the dining room. The adjacent room, the sunroom, also underwent a makeover, so we're sharing that as well.

First, a look back at the BEFORE of the dining room:

  And sunroom:
And now the AFTER:

As you can see, we lightened the space up quite a bit! White trim makes a huge difference, don't you think?! We added curtains, beautiful flooring, had her original table stained a deep walnut (so pretty and looks like a different table!), had her chairs painted white, added new upholstered seating on the ends of the dining table, found a fun gold bar cart and my client found this GORGEOUS light fixture, to accent the kitchen perfectly.

The sunroom got shiplap put on the cathedral ceilings, gorgeous new natural woven shades, a new coffee table, side table, and some finishing touches. We used the sofas the client already had, so we just worked with those and added some accent pieces to the room to finish it off!

Dining room paint: Revere Pewter / Upholstered dining chairs / Curtains / Chandelier - from Savoy House but found on Craigslist (sold out now) / Sunroom coffee tables (2 pushed together) / Sunroom side table
It's amazing what a few updates do for a space! This is a great example of working with what you have and breathing new life into those pieces, like we did here with the table and 4 chairs. An upholstered end chair always makes a dining room look more formal and comfortable, at the same time. These are a great price, too!
Note: My client told me a few weeks ago she washed her Pottery Barn curtains as seen in these photos, just like they said on the tag, and they shrunk by a few feet :( So PSA to anyone with those curtains to take them to the dry cleaner instead of washing them, if need be!!
Hope you liked the tour! We have two more rooms of this house to reveal shortly.
